The Story Behind the Marbles: A Rediscovered Treasure
My journey with these marble keyrings began quite unexpectedly. While clearing out some old boxes in the attic, I rediscovered a collection of vintage glass marbles I had been given—each one a swirling capsule of colour and memories.
Holding them again, I was struck by two things: how beautiful they still were, and how satisfying they felt to hold and turn in my hand. I knew I wanted to give these 'lost treasures' a new purpose, transforming them from something hidden in a box to something you can carry with you every day.
I had been teaching myself the art of wire-caging so I could hold precious pebbles I’d found, and these old marbles turned out to be the perfect starting point. Each silver-plated cage is designed to let the marble spin freely—creating a tactile, soothing experience that calms the mind.
