Real Poppy Seed Head Stud Earrings- coated in silver

Solid silver stud earrings, each pair individually crafted by hand from recycled silver - a time cosuming a tricky process due to the delicate shape of the dried poppy seed heads.  

To create these unique suds I painstakingly coated the tops of dried seed heads in layers and layers of silver clay.  It took quite a while but I hope you agree it was worth while. Once in the kiln the seed head burns away leaving behind the individual poppy shape in solid silver, creating some rather special pieces.
