This handmade piece is a tribute to the "Wise Herb" of the garden. Unlike a standard cast, this pendant was created by hand-pressing a real sage leaf into wet silver clay to capture a crisp reverse image of its botanical structure. The result is a stunningly tactile surface where every tiny, hidden vein is brought into sharp focus.
To enhance this natural architecture, I have applied a dark patina, which settles into the deep grooves of the leaf’s texture, creating a beautiful contrast that makes the intricate garden patterns "pop" against the polished silver.
 
The Artisan Process:
  • From Garden to Studio: Created using a fresh sage leaf plucked directly from my garden.
  • The Texture: A unique hand-pressing technique that captures the "inside" story of the leaf.
  • The Finish: Hand-oxidised (patina) to highlight the stunning organic details.
