Textured Silver Star Pendant (2 of 5 -see all photos to view exact star received)

This piece began life as a flat ceramic bead.  It has then been coated with 4-5 layers of silver clay. It took about a week to construct, waiting for each layer to dry before I could move onto the next stage. After firing it was hand polished and I haven't given this a high shine as I feel the texture looks better when some of it is still a matt finish. 

Only five of these special pendants were created, I kept one so only four are available for sale, each with its own subtly distinct textured pattern.

This makes 'Star Number 2' a uniquely personal and artistic statement.
